Pool Sessions

From September to May we hold Pool Sessions, in a school swimming pool, on Saturday evenings, where our Club coaches can offer training to our members.

Once a month we hold a children’s pool session, which is open to children of 7 to 12 year old. This is a fun session for kids so they can enjoy paddling a variety of boats in the pool.

Please read our news article about the fun we have at our Pool Sessions.

Day Trips on local rivers

river tripA typical day trip on a local river or on the sea would be around four to eight miles, depending upon the ability of the group and the water conditions. However, as you will see from our diary of events, our River Trips cover a wide range of recreational paddling. The club has a variety of boats and equipment to hire.

Throughout the year we paddle local rivers like the Thames, Wey, Mole and Medway.

Weekend Trips, White water paddling & Sea trips

This provides an opportunity for Club members to get together and share their paddling stories or just have a drink with friends. It is also our venue for our annual presentation of the Club’s Touring award which is presented to the adult and junior member who paddles the most miles in a year.
